Calenta isn't detecting my meals.
Wear your Apple Watch snugly during meals (detection reads heart rate and wrist motion), open the Calenta watch app once after installing so sensing can start, and give it a few days — detection calibrates to your body. Meals it misses can always be added with "I ate, but nothing was detected."
It detected a meal I didn't eat.
Tap ✕ ("Not a meal") and optionally tell it what you were doing. In Did-You-Eat mode false detections never count toward your calories — and every ✕ teaches Calenta your body's patterns.
What do Small / Medium / Large mean?
They're your personal calorie tiers, learned from meals you've logged with exact values. They start from sensible defaults and recalibrate as Calenta learns your eating.
Do I have to tap anything?
One tap per meal keeps your numbers exact. If you skip a whole day, Calenta can save the day at a clearly-marked estimate (you can turn this off in Profile → Tracking Style).
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone and Apple Watch. The App Store version of Calenta transmits nothing — see the privacy policy.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. Everything Calenta stored goes with it. You can also revoke Health access in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
